Our Love Story
We first met in 2021, but life had other plans and it wasn't until 2023- when Hadley was dispatching for Payton- that their paths crossed again. He swears it was fate, she says it was just good radio etiquette. Either way, we reconnected, and everything clicked.
By April of 2024, we went on our first date at a historic hotel, and from that night on, we have been inseparable. Just over a year later, in May of 2025, he asked and she said yes- though not before making him sweat for a second too long.
Since then, our days have been filled with laughter, love, and plenty of adventures. We spend our time at country concerts, swing dancing, soaking in the hot springs, and sharing the unique joy of working together in law enforcement- meaning we constantly compare "you won't believe this" stories. Spoiler alert- we always believe it.
Now we can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you. Thank you for being a part of our story- we promise great memories, lots of laughter, and maybe a few fancy dance moves.
Our Wedding Party
We are so lucky to have an amazing group of friends and family standing by our sides on our big day. They've supported us, laughed with us, and been part of so many special moments in our lives.
Each one of them holds a special place in our hearts and we couldn't imagine celebrating without them. We're grateful for their love, for their friendship, and for saying "yes" to being a part of our day.

Don Baysinger
Hadley and Don's friendship kicked off in 2016, and it's been an adventure ever since. Whether it's spontaneous cold plunges (because, why not?) or jamming out on guitars and belting songs at the lake, these two know how to make the most of every moment. Their vibe is equal parts chill and wild, and Don’s the guy you want around when you need a little extra fun.
The Best Man
Kyle Falk
Hadley and Kyle go way back to 2015 when Kyle was introduced to Hadley through his wife, Sydney. Their friendship is a blend of fixing cars, taking wild rides through fields, and maybe getting a little too competitive at the shooting range. When they're together, things are usually loud, fast, and slightly dangerous—but they wouldn’t have it any other way.
Maid of Honor
Friederike Hänsch
Rika is Payton's sister from another mister. She joined the family in 2010 when she traveled from Germany for an exchange student program. What started as a cultural exchange turned into the sister Payton never knew she needed. It’s like Rika was meant to be part of the family from day one—except with better accents and superior taste in beer.
Groomsman
Nathan Koury
Nate is Hadley’s work partner-in-crime, and he loves putting him in the most awkward situations. They met when Hadley first started in Fremont County, and since then, it’s been a nonstop ride of forced team-building exercises and questionable decisions. Make no mistake—Nate’s only here today because Hadley told him he had to be.
Bridesmaid
Molly Mendoza-Martinez
Payton and Molly’s friendship began in 2007, and let’s just say it wasn’t exactly by choice. Molly was “forced” to talk to Payton (don’t worry, she forgave her), but since then, she’s been Payton’s voice of reason through all of life’s chaotic moments. Whenever Payton gets a little too wild, Molly’s there to remind her that maybe, just maybe, there’s a better way to handle things (even if it’s not as fun).
Groomsman
Nick Quarles
Nick and Hadley’s friendship started at the academy, where long days of training and plenty of shared experiences quickly turned them into good friends. After working together for a while, Nick was eventually reassigned, but the two have managed to keep in touch no matter where the job takes them. These days, Hadley's favorite updates come in the form of many videos of Nick’s daughter, Lori, who has obviously become the star of the show. No matter the distance, their friendship has stayed solid since those early academy days.
Bridesmaid
Alyssa Long
Payton and Alyssa’s friendship dates back to 2006 when they were just a couple of soccer-playing, trouble-making kids. They’ve spent countless hours driving around, causing a mess in the most hilarious ways possible. No road trip is complete without them somehow getting lost or starting a “little” (okay, maybe big) disaster, but hey, it’s all part of the fun, right?
Ring "Beerer"
JR Grant
JR and Hadley became fast friends in 2016, thanks to Kyle. They both share a love for lake days, and it’s clear that JR was born to bring the party wherever he goes. That’s why he’s the perfect choice to be the ring beerer—because if there’s one thing he knows, it’s how to keep the energy up and make sure everyone’s having a good time.
Lady in Bloom
Shari VanderPuten
Ms. Shari has been one of Payton’s role models since 2012 when she started working with Paul. From day one, Shari became the pinnacle of class and elegance—everything Payton hopes to be when she grows up. Whether it’s grace under pressure or her impeccable style, Payton looks up to Shari in a way that only someone with pure admiration can. Simply put, Shari is the definition of "goals".
